On Monday night, DJ Sammy came for a visit and all the children had a great time dancing the night away. Although everyone had lots of fun, it was a bit sad that the course is nearly over!

Working hard in English Workshops!
After a very successful first week of workshops, the children were keen to start on a different project for the second week. This has involved script writing for film-making, story-making with photos, dancing and singing for a musical and making puppets.

Learning about London
Before the children went on their final excursion to London, they did some research about the city. In class, they made posters of different landmarks in London such as Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar Square.

Second week
After a great day out to Leeds Castle on Tuesday, the children spent Wednesday in their English Workshops. In the afternoon, each class took it in turns to present their final pieces to the rest of the students.
On Thursday, the children spent the afternoon in their chosen clubs: Art, Dance and Sports. In the Art club, the children created a large-scale version of the english board game, Snakes & Ladders. In the dance club, the children perfected the dance routine to Michael Jackson's 'Thriller'!
In the evening, the children experienced a traditional Scottish Ceilidh, with live music and dancing!
