Today is a full-day trip and some of the kids opted to go to Thorpe Park for a breath-taking mega-speedy ride on a roller coaster;-))))

Goodbye from Discovery Summer Woldingham 2017

Our final students and student hosts have left Woldingham... Only 'eee' and the staff remain! Thank you to all the students who came to Woldingham this year! We had a great time- hope you did too. Goodbye from Discovery Summer, see you next year!!!!!!

Week 3 workshops

This week we have some exciting workshops at Woldingham. Here the students are practising their song for the Song Writing workshop! Woldingham is full of music as the students are heard practising in the playground and the corridors. Shadow Puppets! Some excellent preparation in the Shadow Puppets workshop. Very promising stories to be told on Tuesday. Veronika is preparing her origami for the origami workshop. The students have been learning how to create origami shapes. Sofia is filming Viola making an origami for the tutorial video. Wow! Robot mask making! The students have been getting their hands messy this week in the Robot mask making workshop. Week 4 workshops

Week 4 has seen some exciting workshops out of the classroom. The 'high tea' workshop held a tea party, to which they invited all different members of staff including our Course Director, Administrator and Director of Studies to enjoy their freshly prepared scones with a lovely cup of tea. Thank you for my invite! The 'Nature' workshop enjoyed exploring the countryside in Woldingham whilst filming their documentary. Keep following the blog this afternoon to see the final products.
