First Day!

It’s the first day at Woldingham today and we’re all very excited. All teachers woke up early this morning and are now getting ready to meet the children. Look at the teachers. Don’t they look busy planning the fun activities for this week? Meet the busy bees (from the left): Laura, Emily, Magda, Helen, Fermin, Alberto and Irena.

We also have some special helpers with us, student hosts. Say hello to Tim, Sophie and Bradley.

A team of brilliant activity leaders can’t wait to meet the students too. Just have a look at how excited they are. Top: Alistair, Jinnie, Sarah. Bottom: Cat, Beth, Charlotte, Paul.

  2. Hi Dirk. Thanks for your comment. It's lovely to hear from parents and friends of our students. Johanna is having a lot of fun and already learning new English words. You'll definitely see pictures of activities added in days to come.
I look forward to hearing comments from more parents.

  3. Hello,
our daughter Carlotta just arrived today with Johanna and we are very happy for them to make such a great experience. Too bad we are too old already...we would surely love it as well staying in Woldingham...Have a nice time and we are anxious seeing some pictures the next days. Greetings, Tanja

  4. Hello,

It’s definitely great idea to organize this blog. Our son Dmitry (Dima) Sobchuk arrived yesterday and we wish him and other children to make a lot of friends and have a great time! Although Dima managed to send us a short e-mail yesterday confirming that he is OK we are still a bit nervous about him as this is first time when he is away from home alone. Could you please encourage him to give us a call? Alternatively we would be happy to call him but we don’t know how to do it as his mobile isn’t working their.

    Thanks in advance.

    Alexey

  7. Dear Alexey,
I spoke to Dima today and he promised to send you another e-mail. He's absolutely fine and has already made a few friends. Tomorrow children are going on a trip so it's probably not the easiest day to call him but if you want to try please do so around 7pm (UK time). You can reach us at 0044 18 83 654 232.
