Week 3 presentations

Week 3 saw some fantastic presentations from the students here at Woldingham. 

The students presented the work they had created throughout the week in their workshops. 

DRAMA

SPACE

&

PHOTO STORY 

Drama was a fantastic workshop and the students created a play about life at Discovery. Including many members of staff and current students. The play had much use of the English language and was very creative. 

Here we have Areej, Aleks, Grace and Abylay dressed up as various staff members from Woldingham. They are having a very serious staff meeting about the missing wrist bands! Keep reading the blog over the next few days to find out about the wrist bands here at Woldingham!

Here is Ulan dressed as activity leader Pete. He was sent to the Woldingham prison for stealing the wrist bands from students!

 The SPACE workshop was also fantastic with lots of creativity. The students learnt lots of new vocabulary about space and in the presentation they even taught the vocabulary to the audience. The students ended their workshop presentation with an inter-active quiz for the audience.

The students all presented their work very nicely with great confidence in their spoken English!

The students who took part in the SPACE workshop really enjoyed creating different planets and worlds from different materials they could find! Imagination stretching!

Our final workshop was photo story. In this workshop the students created stories using photos they had taken themselves around Woldingham. The stories varied from a day at Woldingham to Zombies! The audience really enjoyed the photo story workshop and loved trying to spot each other in the photos! 

All the students worked very hard in the workshops in week 3! Well Done!
