Today we all went on a trip to Leeds castle. Everyone had a wonderful time and all really enjoyed it! All the students, student helpers and activity leaders had a good look round the castle and learned a lot about the castle and the people that had lived there in the past.
When we returned we had some new students that had come from another centre. They came to stay for the last two weeks of the course here.
Later that night we had our international night. This is when the members of each country prepare and then give a presentation on there country's beliefs and customs. The pictures above show some examples of the presentations (on the left Italy singing there national anthem, in the middle the student hosts representing England, and on the right, the country with the greatest number of students on the Discovery course, Russia giving their presentation!)

Shame that there are no photos of Leeds Castle it sounds really interesting, I hope that it did not rain. I wonder if rain is part of the UK's culture?
